Mr Antwi Boasiako, Municipal Chief Executive for Assin North described the relationship that must exist between DCEs and chiefs as that of a man and a wife.
The MCE urged his colleagues to ensure regular interactions with chiefs to know their needs.

He urged them not to waiver because of the teething problems the government was encountering as a result of the financial situations they

Nana Nyamfo Esuako, chief of the town, urged the Assemblies to inform chiefs about projects initiated for their communities to enable them to
exercise some supervisory roles over their execution.
He thanked them for honouring the pledge and said traditional rulers were part of the country's governance machinery, stressing that they could
not be separated from government.
