At least 11 people died in a bus accident in eastern Portugal on Sunday after the vehicle plunged down a embankment.
The 32 other passengers on the coach bus were injured, six of them seriously, according to emergency responders. Among the injured were seven children.
The accident occurred on a curve of a downhill stretch of road as the bus was traveling north from the Castelo Branco region to medieval town of Santa Maria da Feira.
All of the passengers came from Portugal.
