Serbia coach Radomir Antic has had his contract extended by the Serbian Football Federation (FSS) until the end of qualifying for the 2012 UEFA European Championship.
The FSS said in a statement that they had decided to extend Antic's deal until 2011 based on his results, which they described as "on the whole excellent and positive."
The FFS added that they would once again extend his contract if the team qualified for UEFA EURO 2012. Antic took over in August 2008 after two disappointing campaigns by Serbia at the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ and the Men's Olympic Tournament in Beijing two years later.
Under his guidance, Serbia qualified directly for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
