Ghanaian  musician Kwesi Dain has opened up about a moment of encouragement he received from award-winning artiste Black Sherif during the peak of the latter's rise to stardom, a gesture he says still motivates him today.

Speaking in an interview on Angel FM in Kumasi, Kwesi Dain shared that Black Sherif, known widely as Blacko, once reached out to him directly to praise his  music. 

He said Blacko "showed love for my music and told me I was doing amazing."

Kwesi Dain revealed that the interaction left such an impression on him that he briefly considered asking Black Sherif for a collaboration. In the end, however, he chose not to pursue it.

"I thought about asking for a feature, but I didn't go through with it," he disclosed.

He explained that he doesn't look back on that decision with regret. 

"I don't regret what I did because if we have life, there is hope," he stated.

Interestingly, despite the personal outreach and the mutual respect between the two artistes, Kwesi Dain disclosed that he and Black Sherif have never actually met face-to-face. 

"I have not yet met Blacko, but I am hoping we will meet one day," he said.
