Jennifer Lopez started her music career more than a quarter century ago. At the time, she was still introducing herself to the world as an actress, and she wanted to turn herself into an all-around entertainer. Lopez’s first few full-lengths produced multiple hit singles, and her albums performed well on the U.S. charts.
These days, Lopez is better known for her film roles, her gorgeous red carpet looks, and her seemingly never-ending status as a Hollywood A-lister. The superstar is clearly still interested in music, as she recently delivered a new single titled “Save Me Tonight” with electronic dance producer David Guetta. While the tune has yet to land on many of Billboard’s most competitive tallies, it does rocket into the highest tier on the one list on which it still appears.
Nearly a month into its time on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, “Save Me Tonight” boogies its way into the top 10. The track ascends from No. 14 to No. 7, earning Lopez her fourth placement between Nos. 1 and 10.
“Save Me Tonight” already ranks as Lopez’s second-highest-rising hit on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, a position it ties as it climbs. “Save Me Tonight” is on the same level as “On My Way,” which coincidentally marked her most recent hit on the tally before this charged collaboration. “On My Way” debuted on the tally in February 2022 and settled into its all-time high of No. 7 in March.
Two additional cuts by Lopez have also broken into the top 10, and they both feature Pitbull. “On the Floor” remains Lopez’s only No. 1, a position it reached back in 2011. “Dance Again,” another Lopez classic with her frequent collaborator, lifted as high as No. 10.
Throughout her career, Lopez has pushed a total of nine tracks to the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. The roster looks only at the tunes that are played on electronic dance radio stations throughout the U.S., ranking them based on the largest total number of audience impressions. Just under half of all of her wins have cracked the top 10.

Lopez first appeared on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay roster more than 20 years ago, in the summer of 2003. While she may not be the most successful artist in the tally’s history, and while “Save Me Tonight” has not managed to become an immediate smash across many charts, the fact that Lopez has been landing hits on this list for more than two decades speaks to her sustained popularity and commitment to speaking to a dance-minded audience.
Guetta has proved far more popular than Lopez on the Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. In fact, in many regards, he is the most successful musician of all time.
Guetta has seen 48 tunes bolt into the top 10 – the most among all artists – and he is in a distant first place. Calvin Harris comes next with 28 top 10s.
Guetta also claims the most No. 1s of all time on this specific list. He amazingly snagged four champions in 2025 alone. That roundup includes “Forever Young,” with Alphaville and Ava Max, “Gone Gone Gone,” with both Teddy Swims and Tones and I, “Beautiful People,” which credits frequent collaborator Sia, and “A Better World,” which also names Cedric Gervais as a featured act.
