5 South African Wineries will pair their finest varietals with signature specialty dishes from 5 top Ghanaian Chefs. The event, titled 5 Wines, 5 Chefs is presented by WESGRO Cape Town and Western Cape Tourism, Trade & Investment and AccraPremium.

Showcasing Chefs are Joe Wilson Tetteh; PaJohn Bentsifi Dadson; Rima Fakhry; Georgina Abbam-Baidoo and George Kofi Mensah. The Chefs dishes will be paired with wines from La Ricmal, Nice, Nuiba, Riebeek Valley and Clos Malverne Wineries in South Africa.

The event, celebrating Pan-African Food and Wine coincides with South African Heritage Day and the birthday week of Ghana’s first President Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.

The 5 Wines, 5 Chefs Pairing Opens the AccraPremium Market weekend which begins Saturday Night 25 September and concludes Sunday Afternoon 26 September at Citizen Kofi in Osu. The AccraPremium Market will showcase 10 Wine Brands from South Africa, Food, Beer and Drinks stalls. Admission is GHS20 for attendees over 10yrs. All COVID protocols will be enforced.
