A lead up to the most loved series awards, the 2018 edition of the Zee Rishtey Awards. Zee TV treats you to a wedding extravaganza special in the weeks prior to the main awards ceremony.
All the glitz and glamour expected from an Indian will be on offer, from the Rokka ceremony, complete with a Punjabi Dhol to welcome the latest couple in the Zee series family. Nominations will be announced with pomp at this special ceremony.
A ladies Sangeet night will feature a game of antakshari, which will be hosted by Annu Kapoor. The third and fourth instalment will feature Zee stars travelling across India summoning guests to the ‘wedding’ with the call ‘shaadi mein zairoor aana.’ Our stars will be shopping at local markets and tasting local delicacies at every location.
The final episode will be titled ‘shaadi ki tayyari’ and will be showcase the preparations involved in hosting the grand ‘wedding’, the Zee Rishtey Awards 2018. The Zee Ki Beti Ki Shaadi precursor to the awards will be a light-hearted affair with comedy and drama, as with a real Indian wedding.

The king of Bollywood will grace our screens this October with three movies that remind us why Shahrukh Khan is the baadshah of Bollywood.
On the 6th Raees is a shrewd young boy who impresses the local kingpin and ends up working for him in his liquor smuggling business. He grows up and out of the kingpin’s clutches to start his own business. With wit, humour and power Raees gains the love of his community as he uses his proceeds to better the lives of the poor. A game of cat and mouse starts when a new officer comes in town, ready to take down Raees’ rulership and the entire liquor industry.
On the 7th of October, SRK is Charlie, a broken-hearted ex-fighter, driven by revenge against the man who framed his father. Starring opposite Jackie Shroff, Shahrukh Khan is flanked by an all-star cast, including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bhachchan, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood. Happy New Year is a dance and music extravaganza, not short on drama, humour and romance.
Jab Harry Met Sejal stars Shahrukh Khan as Harry, a tour guide with questionable morals and a cold heart. When Harry meets Sejal, his life takes a turn. Sejal is a passenger in his one of his tours. At the end of the tour she realises that she has lost her engagement ring, a family heirloom from her fiancé’s family. She asks Harry to help her search for it, by tracing back their steps through all the cities they visited in Europe. Here they fall for each other, but Sejal still returns to her fiancé to fulfil her duties and avoid bringing dishonour to her family.

Starry Nights is back with a wittier, more engaging and star peppered second season. Amitabh Bhachchan, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor Khan – these are just some of the stars that will brace the Starry Nights couch. This season sees the stars bring along a close friend or family member for a fun-filled evening with host, Komal Nahta.

Ishanvi is a young yet mature girl who loves her parents. However, her world comes crashing down when her mother dies in an accident and her father is wrongly accused for her mother’s murder and is subsequently jailed.
Anupriya, a simple, traditional lady, takes Ishanvi in and gives her a home. Ishanvi ends up believing that Anupriya is responsible for her suffering, assuming that Anupriya was her father’s mistress.
Ishanvi has burning rage and wants to avenge her mother’s death. Soon enough, Ishanvi learns that Anupriya was actually her father’s first wife and her mother was the mistress.
Ishanvi finds herself not only in the wrong but also feels responsible for Anupriya’s suffering and wants to make it up to her. So begins their bitter-sweet relationship.
