The 29-year-old actress -- who covers the March issue of Vogue -- secretly married Michael Fassbender this past October in Ibiza, Spain, and so far, life as a wife is really working for her.

"I feel I’m more happy and content than I’ve ever been," she tells the fashion magazine.

Vikander met Fassbender, 40, when the two played a married couple in The Light Between Oceans, and while she's not too keen on sharing much about her real-life romance with the two-time Oscar nominee, she does sing his praises as an actor. 

Vikander is currently promoting her Tomb Raider, where she will be taking on the lead role of Lara Croft, a character that was portrayed by Angelina Jolie in past films. "She hasn’t found her footing in the world just yet," Vikander describes Croft in the upcoming movie. "The film is really her discovery of herself."
