Cameroon will host the first integration days of Central Africa countries in Douala, the economic capital of the country, the government has said.
Under the aegis of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the event is planned to feature the sub-regional integration process,
bringing together participants from the countries of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC), UN agencies and the African Development Bank.
The events will be attended by representatives from governments, parliaments, public and private sectors, universities, research institutes, media and civil society organizations.
The integration days "are suitable for all actors in the integration process and are also used for sensitization on the achievements that have
been realized as well as the means of accelerating the process," said a press statement from the regional office of the United Nations Economic
Commission for Central Africa in Yaounde.
