Asubonteng Rural Bank headquartered at Worawora in the Volta Region, has donated assorted items valued at about GH¢1,000 to the Krachie East District Assembly.
The items, which were to be distributed free to the assembly members, comprised boxes of key soap, cutlasses, biscuits, assorted fruit juice and bottled mineral water.
Mr Joshua Odoom, the Supervising Manager of the bank, said the gesture was to help encourage the assembly members in their services to the people in the district.
As partners in development, he said, the bank would continue to closely work with the Assembly and support people in the communities to contribute effectively their quota to the growth and development of the district.
He said the bank was determined and committed to its social responsibilities in the district.
Mr Odoom encouraged them to adopt the habit of saving their monies with the banks in the district.
Mr Raphael K. Ogyemako, the District Chief Executive, who received the items, thanked the bank for gesture.
