Mr Ameno said with the current partnership with Steadfast and Hydrasun, the time taken to import items was taken off and this would inure to the benefit of the customer and our prices would be lower than the imported ones.
He called on the Petroleum Commission to develop a framework that would support local industries such Rigworld Solutions in the oil and gas as well as the mining industry.
Mr Ameno said such framework would provide a secured market for their products as it would ensure that industries procure them locally.
The Factory Manager, called on oil and gas, mining companies, factories and other relevant institutions to patronise the products of Rigworld solutions to enable them stay in business as well as create jobs for the youth.
Mr Ernest Gyamposu, Operations Manager, said currently the company has a total workforce of 25 who are all Ghanaians and have undergone intensive training from their partners in the United Kingdom.
He said there are 10 specialized technicians running the production units from threading to final stages of the stud bolts and nuts production.
Mr Gyamposu said the effort would enable Ghanaians to participate actively in the oil and gas industry as stated in the country's local content and local participation Act 2013(LI 2204) as well as serve as a basis for government to raise revenue to fund its activities.
