Sky Plus Hotel and Resort, the fastest growing two star hotel in Ho has marked its 10th anniversary with a corporate luncheon.
The hotel, which is part of the Archibald Victoria Letsa (AVL) group of companies, has 66 spacious rooms with warm tub bath and experiencing expansion with additional 30 rooms, to be ready for use by December, this year.
The hotel, can boast of multiple conference facilities, including a 500 multipurpose hall, 150 and 100 seating capacity conference halls, board rooms, gym, bar and restaurant as well as children's playground and a pool.
Mr. Alexander Nketia, Volta Regional Director, Ghana Tourism Authority at the event said Sky Plus continued to provide quality hospitality services to its numerous patrons, lifting high the flag of the industry in the region.
He said the hotel ranked high among industry players and urged management to maintain the standards.
The anniversary was on the theme: "A Decade of Hospitality Excellence" and attracted heads of decentralized institutions, players in the private sector and the clergy.
Mrs Victoria Korkor Letsa, Chief Executive, Sky Plus Hotel and Resort noted that the decision to venture into Hotel Management was to create opportunities for the youth in Ho.
She said regardless of the teething challenges, the business bounced back stronger and now "serving country and God."
Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister commended Sky Plus for its contribution to the hospitality industry and reiterated the commitment of government to create the enabling environment for the private sector to thrive.
