The Grand Sales is also designed to bring together buyers and sellers to network and have fun by clearing old and outstanding stock and looking for new traders.

A statement from the Company and copied to the Ghana News Agency said the event, scheduled to happen from September 27 to October, this year is expected to attract not only Ghanaian participants but those from the sub-region and beyond.

It said “It is a generalised sales bazaar not limited but opened to sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, clothing, and automobile, among others”.

It said “Entertainment and fun activities such as the kids play area, the bambini show, food and drinks court and the weekend highlife for adults have been taken into consideration and planning is underway”.

It said that Grand Sales 2018 might be the last one to be held in Accra, before the Centre would be re-modelled into an International Convention Centre.

We are therefore calling on all and sundry to come and experience the old trade fair for the last time before its makeover,” the statement added.

The Grand Sales is an annual event by the Ghana Trade Fair Company but was suspended in 2014 and now revived to bring some benefit to the Ghanaian citizenry.
