Azar Chemicals Ltd., has relaunched one of its products, Savana Paints, with a float in Kasoa, in the Awutu Senya East Municipality. The relaunch was to engage directly with their numerous customers and to remind them of the quality and affordability of Savana Paints. The event was characterised by a Savana dance which depicts that anybody can use the paint and do the painting himself or herself while having fun. The float ended at the offices of the Awutu Senya East Municipal Assembly where the building was giving a face-lift with some fresh Savana paint.
Mr Alex McCarthy, a Sales Representative, who spoke on behalf of the Company, said that Azar Paints has been in existence for 97 years now and has been acclaimed as the No 1. in the maket. He said that Savana paint is human friendly and can last for 10 years when used. According to Mr McCarthy, the launch event will be replicated in all the 10 regions of Ghana.
Indeed, Azar was voted best in the category of value for money in the first ICERTIAS Best Buy Award survey conducted in Ghana. Offering a broad selection of interior wall paints that cater to varying needs, the majority of Ghanaians surveyed confirmed that Azar was their first choice regarding best value for money.
The Municipal Chief Executive of the area, Mr Michael Essuman-Mensah, was very happy with the initiative Azar Chemicals Ltd had taken to paint a building in every region that the float is held. He said that it was in line with President Akufo-Addo’s vision for a clean Ghana and asked other companies to take a cue from Azar chemicals Ltd and help to make Accra clean.
Other paints that make up the portfolio of the company are Azar and Shield.
