Payment of taxes is a civic responsibility and a constitutional obligation, he said, hence the need for citizens to comply.The Jirapa Municipal NCCE Director reminded the people that it was their right to demand accountability from duty-bearers, but added that could only be done when citizens fulfilled their obligation of paying taxes without default.
