The Group Nduom (GN) Bank, an indigenous private Ghanaian owned commercial bank, has unveiled GN Mobile Money system in the Upper West Region to better serve and give its customers new experience in modern banking.
The new mobile money system introduced in Wa, the regional capital, forms part of the Bank’s innovative ways of serving its customers better and meeting their needs. Mr Samuel Ampaah, the General Manager at GN Research, Sales and Marketing, who unveiled the mobile money system in Wa, said the banking industry has been transformed from ‘kiosk banking’ to advance banking.
He assured customers that: “All security features are put in place to protect our clients from dubious and fraudulent activities hence the need to register GN Mobile Money.” The Bank also awarded some 50 loyal customers in the Region with certificates and different packages for contributing to its sustainability over the years.
Mr Issah Adam, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bank, said it was necessary to honour customers and also take their concerns for redress to improve banking services. “The only way of showing appreciation is by coming to interact with them because without customers there is no business,” he added.
