Societe Generale (SG) Ghana has rewarded final winners in its ‘Aben Wo Ha’ promotion in Accra.
The grand draw was the final in a series to reward customers who participated in the promotion launched in August 2017 by the bank to encourage customers to save and improve their saving habit.
The six winners from across the country who received keys to the brand new Suzuki Baleno cars were; Mr Alexander Awuku (Accra Central), Teye S. Oyu (Sunyani), Mary Asabea Attor (Tema), Albert Senyo Zoranoo (Kaneshie), Gifty Thompson (Cape Coast), and Fati Nyagima (Wa).
Mr Francois Marchal, Deputy Managing Director, Societe Generale Ghana said the bank “embarked on an in-depth Transformation Programme aimed at providing leading-edge products and services that best satisfy our customers’ financial needs.”
“We are happy to have met this goal with the introduction of the ‘Aben Wo Ha’ promotion, where our customers had the ability to save in a rewarding manner,” he said.
He said the bank had the best interest of customers at heart and promised more exciting products and service offers this year.
Mr Obed Hoyah, Head of Retail Network, SG Ghana said they were proud the promotion, which gave customers the opportunity to deposit a minimum of GHC200 to enter the draw had become “huge success.”
Mr Hoyah noted that the strategy for the promotion was to inspire a culture of saving in customers and urge potential customers to save.
“The Aben Wo Ha promotion reinforced our strategy of innovation by introducing the element of saving. The promotion urged customers to rush to save in order to win exciting prizes as well as six brand new cars.”
Mr Teye S. Oyu, one of the winners told the GNA that he was extremely happy to receive the car.
He said, “When they called to tell me that I had won a car, I never believed it until I received the keys to the car.
“In fact since then I have not been able to sleep because I have been thinking about it all the time. But upon receiving the keys today and seeing the car I am surprised but I think I can sleep now. I am extremely happy with this”.
