MoneyGram Regional Compliance Conference took place on March 6-7 in Lagos, Nigeria at Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event was hosted by Andres Villareal, MoneyGram’s Chief Compliance Officer and Kemi Okusanya, MoneyGram’s head of Anglophone Africa. Among attendees were representatives of Nigerian Economic Financial Crime Commission, as well as and key agents from West Africa region.

During the two-day conference, MoneyGram experts representing various offices delivered several presentations covering such topics as fraud detection, prevention and management; cyber fraud and the changing landscape of compliance in Africa and globally in the digital era. The event showcased how MoneyGram’s compliance program continues to evolve and adapt to current and future regulatory expectations.
