The GCB Bank also rose by 6.5 per cent to close trading at GH?4.90 per share whilst Ecobank Ghana Limited edged by 2.6 per cent to GH?7.20 per share, Nordea Capital Investment Stock Market analysis made available to the Ghana News Agency in Accra, on Thursday indicated.

According to the Nordea Capital Investment Stock Market expert, the other gainers were Societe Generale 1.3 per cent to close at GH?0.76 per share and Standard Chartered 0.1 per cent to GH?13.40 per share.The only laggard was Total Ghana Limited which lost 0.4 per cent to GH?2.29 per share.  

The mid-week session recorded activities in 16 equities with seven price changes, in effect, the benchmark GSE-Composite Index rose by 0.2 per cent to close at 1,839.5 points. The GSE-FSI also gained by 2.3 per cent to close at 1,737 points whilst volume traded hit 66,728 shares which were valued at GH?108,973.80.
