Pakistan-India Business Council is planning to hold conferences in Islamabad and Delhi on trade through different chambers of commerces in a bid to improve relations between the two countries.
Noor Muhammad Kasuri, Chairman of the business
council, said the organisation would invite Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi for the conferences.
He said PIBC is striving to draft fundamental
principles through consultations with intellectuals, politicians and trade organisations to consolidate relationship between two countries.
"The suggestions will be forwarded to all the
stakeholders for the essential feedback. Practical
steps will be adopted on replies which will have far-flung impact on the people," he said.
