The Accra bourse Index closes flat in trading on
Tuesday at 6,041.18 points for a year to date gain of 8.41 percent.
Traded volumes rallied to their highest of over 141.2 million shares
valued at GH¢22.6 million, mainly on the back of Adcock Ingram's acquisition of over 65.59 percent of the issued shares of its Ghanaian counterpart
Ayrton Drugs Manufacturing Company.
Market Capitalisation closed the session up at GH¢17,835.98 million.
