Key Responsibilities
1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Physics lessons for IGCSE and A Level students in accordance with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
2. Use varied and innovative teaching methods to engage students and promote a deep understanding of complex Physics concepts.
3. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback, ensuring that each student achieves their academic targets.
4. Prepare students for both internal and external assessments, including coursework and practical, and ensure that all deadlines are met.
5. Manage the classroom environment, ensuring that it is conducive to learning and that all students adhere to school policies.
6. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, performance, and assessment data.
7. Work closely with the Head of Science and other members of the department to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
8. Participate in extracurricular activities, including science clubs, tutoring sessions, and school events, to support students outside of the classroom.
9. Stay updated with the latest trends in Physics education and participate in professional development opportunities.
