• At least 2 years of experience being a preschool teacher (Nursery. KG or grade 1 preferred) • Training and certificate in teaching jolly phonics • Montessori training is a plus

• Design curriculum, lesson plans and activities to teach children how to read


• Using a combination of Jolly Phonics and Booksie’s own developed learning to read programme


• The end goal is to get readers to fall in love with reading and books by improving their reading proficiency


• The job is fun cross between being a preschool literacy teacher and a librarian

Skills

• Excellent writing and communication skills, computer literate


• Some knowledge and experience with design software such as Canva, Easil, adobe Photoshop or illustrator etc.


• Must be motivated, disciplined a self-starter and very organized


• Good knowledge of google suite (google docs, sheets, slides etc.) Must be creative and brimming with ideas
