Description
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Responsible for preparing and reporting on adjustments done to inventories that may be damaged, spoilt.
- Maintain record of receipts/invoices as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliveries.
- Should be involved in reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system
- Partake in the reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system.
- Participate in stock taking and confirm stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members
- Supervise on and offloading processes to ensure quantities stated on paper tally with physical quantities on and offloaded from the container or delivery vehicles
- Ensure correct procedures are embarked on vis-a vis on or offloading, packing and unpacking items in and out of vehicles.
- Ensure no items leaves the warehouse unless it is accompanied by proper documentations or due procedures are followed.
- Ensure all goods issued out are in the right quantities as stated on the invoices.
- Undertake any other duties periodically assigned by Management.
