Description
We are looking to hire a persuasive and customer-oriented medical sales representative to persuade healthcare professionals to purchase our medical products. The medical sales representative’s responsibilities include identifying new opportunities to increase product sales, investigating and resolving customer complaints, and strategically negotiating the terms of sale with customers to close sales. You should also be able to take the necessary steps to develop an in-depth understanding of the latest clinical data proferred by the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare specialists, including doctors, pharmacists and hospitals within the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities to meet with specialists, present product information and address enquiries.
- Provide detailed product knowledge, including features, benefits and usage guidelines, to healthcare specialists.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare specialists to enhance product awareness and generate sales.
- Actively listen to customer needs and concerns, and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to gather insights and provide feedback to the company.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and sales, to develop and implement effective promotional strategies.
- Attend industry conferences, seminars and workshops to stay updated with industry trends and expand professional networks.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of customer interactions, sales activities and market intelligence in the designated CRM system.
- Adhere to ethical and regulatory guidelines set by the Pharmacy Council of Ghana, ensuring compliance in all interactions and activities.
