Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and developing strategies to
expand market share. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep
understanding of the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry, and the ability to align sales
efforts with marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Sales Strategy & Execution:
-Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market
share for soap and detergent products.
-Identify new business opportunities, including potential markets, distributors, and retail partners,
to drive sales growth.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers to ensure
long-term partnerships.
-Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior
management.
-Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competitor activities.
2.Team Leadership & Development:
-Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
-Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and provide regular feedback and coaching to ensure
success.
-Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
-Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales department.
-Conduct performance evaluations and implement professional development plans for team
members.
3.Marketing Collaboration:
-Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and
initiatives.
-Provide input on product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities based on market
insights.
-Collaborate on the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, product catalogs, and
sales presentations.
-Support the planning and execution of product launches, trade shows, and promotional events.
-Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide feedback to optimize future
efforts.
4.Customer Relationship Management:
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer
satisfaction.
-Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain trust and loyalty.
-Conduct regular visits to key accounts and distributors to strengthen relationships and identify
new opportunities.
5.Budget Management:
-Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
-Monitor expenses and ensure all activities are within budgetary constraints.
-Provide financial forecasts and reports to senior management.
6.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
-Collaborate with the product development team to provide market insights and feedback for new
product launches.
-Work with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products to meet
customer demand.
-Partner with the finance team to ensure accurate sales forecasting and revenue tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is
a plus.
Experience:
-Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably
in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
-Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
-Experience in managing distributor networks and retail partnerships.
-Strong understanding of the soap and detergent market, including customer behavior and
competitor landscape.
