Key Accountabilities:
- Develops and writes advertising plans for the customer with the view to maximizing client spend on network station.
- Develops effective and timesaving sales proposal formats for presentation to clients.
- Visits existing clients and constantly keeps in touch with clients and aggressively prospect and pursue new clients with a view to:
- Increasing the station’s business in accordance with targets
- Identifying additional accounts/ clients with potential
- Making new contacts (also existing accounts).
- Making presentations jointly with Key accounts or Sales Manager
- Reducing/eliminating competitive activity
- Ensuring that clients are satisfied with service.
- Ensure that clients are well serviced.
- Implementing contracts, campaigns and plans for clients
- Prepares and negotiates contracts according to sales procedures and discount policy
- Completes weekly sales reports and present to the Sales Manager.
- Completes a monthly, quarterly and annual sales report and presents to Sales Manager on the scheduled date.
- Provides management with competitive/market information as available from the field. (Market intelligence)
- Negotiates and establishes prices according to sales procedures and in consultation with Sales Manager
- Liaises with other departments to ensure effective and efficient service delivery and maximum customer satisfaction
- Ensures that all customers and prospects fully understand the TV station’s services
- Liaises with Finance to monitor credit facilities, position and payments of clients and ensures that clients do not exceed their credit limit.
- Ensures that clients are always within their credit limit and that payments are made on due date.
