Vanguard Life Assurance is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to drive growth in the welfare insurance market. The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, recruiting and mentoring a high-performing sales team, and building strong client relationships to deliver tailored insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of welfare insurance products, proven experience in sales leadership, and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. You will identify new business opportunities, engage key decision-makers, and ensure seamless service delivery in collaboration with internal teams. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Good knowledge and understanding of the welfare insurance market and the various product offerings
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets for business growth.
- Recruit, train, and mentor a sales team to enhance their skills and drive performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and offer suitable products
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the welfare market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations
- Effectively organize and conduct high-profile corporate presentations, negotiate, and follow up to close deals
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Sales Leadership role
- Ability to recruit, train and manage a team to achieve set goals
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Effective reporting, strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Strong ability to lead, motivate and develop a winning sales team
- High networking skills, sociable and strong business relationship builder
