Description
The salesperson for I.T. Software will be responsible for generating sales, developing relationships with clients, and providing them with tailored software solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of technology, the ability to communicate complex software solutions in a simplified manner, and a proven track record of meeting sales targets. The ideal candidate will work closely with the technical and customer service teams to deliver top-notch solutions that meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation:
- Identify and prospect potential clients in need of software solutions.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and offer appropriate software solutions.
- Follow up on leads, ensuring a high conversion rate from prospects to sales.
Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest I.T. software products and their functionalities.
- Provide clients with detailed product information and explain the technical aspects in a customer-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure clients receive accurate solutions.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
- Provide feedback to the sales and product development teams to refine offerings.
Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts in the CRM system.
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
Customer Support:
- Ensure that clients receive excellent after-sales support by coordinating with the customer service and technical teams.
- Handle client complaints and resolve issues promptly.
