Description
Our client, a shipping industry is looking for experienced individuals to fill the role of SALES STEERING COORDINATOR to assist in the daily coordination of sales activities in the company.
ROLE PROFILE:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating sales efforts to maximize both volume and contribution levels in the export and import trades throughout the year. He or she would perform the following duties such as:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review overall bookings daily to ensure optimisation of area allocation and cost-effective routings.
- Commercialise equipment effectively by steering containers to equipment demand areas and depleting surplus areas.
- Analyse competitive information and statistical data.
- Work with the trade management department to establish new business opportunities and acceptable rates for customers.
- Assist management in the preparation of the volume/revenue budget and maintain performance per customers trade etc.
- Establish and follow up on the performance of focus and target accounts/commodities in liaison with the sales team.
- Perform revenue management activities such as DnD collection and tariff adjustments, local revenue optimization, and pricing analytics review.
- Assist the sales steering manager in providing marketing direction for the sales team to achieve export/import volume.
- Perform accurate completion of required reporting with deadlines
- Assist in discussion with sales/steering issues and pricing issues with senior officers.
