As a Cashier in our organization, you will manage financial transactions and customer interactions at the point of sale in our restaurant and catering events. Your responsibilities will include processing payments, handling customer inquiries, and providing a high level of customer service. We are looking for a candidate who is not only adept at handling cash transactions but also possesses excellent interpersonal skills to enhance our guests' dining experience.
Key responsibilities:
Transaction Processing
Accurately process customer payments for dining and catering services, including cash, credit/debit cards, and checks.
Handle daily cash transactions and ensure the cash register is balanced at the end of the shift.
- Customer Service:
Greet customers and assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
Resolve any customer inquiries or issues related to billing and payment.
- Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
Prepare and present bills to customers, ensuring itemized costs are clear and accurate.
- Compliance and Security:
Adhere to all financial handling and security procedures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the service area.
- Collaboration with Team:
Coordinate with the service and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Assist in setting up and breaking down at catering events as needed.
