Qualifications
• Experience as a Sales Rep within the pharmaceutical industry is a must, with at least 5 years of working experience.
• Proven work experience as a Pharmaceutical Rep
• Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines and latest medical issues
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• BS degree in relevant field

Description
- To be assigned to a Zone and a Van and to manage the open market business within the designated zone
- Go out to prospect and sell the company’s products from Monday to Saturday
- Attend meetings and other training and development programs as may be required
- Study each of Company products to ensure expert knowledge thereof.
- Inform clients about the dosage, benefits, side effects, and contraindications attached to each drug.
- Serve customers by selling pharmaceutical products to medical professionals, hospitals, and pharmacies based on their needs.
- Analyze competitors' performance to safeguard and further promote our position in the market.
- Conduct regular self-evaluations to ensure that you always meet or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Attend training workshops organized by the company and other external congresses to remain up-to-date with standards and developments in the industry.
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Meet with current and prospective clients to identify their needs and present new/relevant products
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and selling techniques.
- Recommend changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
