Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Implementation:
Developing and executing comprehensive strategies aligned with the NGO's mission, including identifying growth opportunities and managing risks.
- Operational Management:
Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective program delivery, and implementing policies and procedures.
- Financial Management:
Managing the budget, financial reporting, and ensuring financial stability and integrity.
- Staff and Volunteer Management:
Hiring, training, and supervising staff and volunteers, assigning tasks, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Program Development and Evaluation:
Overseeing the development and implementation of programs, ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation of their impact.
- Communications and Public Relations:
Serving as the primary spokesperson, developing communication strategies, and building relationships with stakeholders.
- Fundraising and Resource Mobilization:
Identifying and pursuing funding opportunities, writing proposals, and managing grant applications.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies, while also managing potential risks.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage teams, delegate tasks, and make strategic decisions.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and managing financial resources.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop and implement strategic plans, identify opportunities, and manage risks.
- Program Management: Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs.
- Fundraising and Resource Mobilization: Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and resource mobilization.
- Interest in extreme sports is a plus.
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree in NGO Management, Business Mgt, Social Sciences.
