Description
- Assist the Head Chef in planning menus and creating new recipes
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to set standards
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and new employees
- Check food quality, taste, and presentation before serving
- Handle customer feedback related to food and make improvements where necessary
- Step in as Head Chef when required
