Assist the sales manager in the performance of his duties by helping to design and drive the implementation of acquisition strategies for accounts across the territory in order to achieve APO target
• Support to plan and execute appropriate initiatives for revenue, customer market share, retention, customer satisfaction and product penetration for business
• Develop a sales pipeline and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients to achieve sales targets
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports to make presentations during sales meetings
• Conduct sales discoveries to identify customer needs from assigned leads and prepare sales quotations for customers on needs identified
• Follow up on clients’ quotations to negotiate and close deals
• Track activity of competitors and maintain up- to- date knowledge of pricing and assist sales managers to create a competitive strategy
• Plan and implement customer call program to cover the entire company’s mining, construction equipment and machineries, Forestry, Material and Transportation product range such as excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, rollers, backhoes and skid steers, concrete equipment
• Be 100% CRM (HubSpot) compliant by consistently updating the CRM with all sales visits, meetings and phone calls to clients
• Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project the number of contacts to be made
• Prepare for and attend exhibits, conferences, meetings and other local, regional and national promotional opportunities
• Maintain a professional image always through personal actions and initiatives
• Enhance the company’s reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the company’s core values
• Update job knowledge for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, networking and participating in professional organization
• Prepare reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up and performance against budget
