Our client in Logistics and Transport services now seek a high caliber Workshop Manager to work with.
Job Summary
We seek an experienced and skilled Workshop Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will ensure our workshop operates efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively, supporting our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the overall function of the Mechanics Workshop
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules for vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose, adjust, repair overhaul Van and trucks
- Allocating and supervising work on a daily basis to our Mechanics team
- Monitoring progress and inspecting completed work to ensure the required standards are achieved by our Mechanics
- Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and control workshop expenses, optimizing costs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inventory
- Ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
