• BSc/ MSc in Chemistry • Proven 5+ years of experience as a quality control manager in edible oil refinery • A results-driven approach and a keen eye for detail • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Proficiency in MS Office • In-depth knowledge of relevant legal standards and quality control procedures • Excellent communication and listening skills. • Certifications in HACCP/HARPC and SQF will be advantageous • Training in environmental monitoring and auditing will be appreciated Certification in quality control will be a strong advantage

Our client a manufacturing company in Tema, Accra is seeking to employ the service of an experience and qualified Quality Control Manager with over 5 years experience in preferrably edible oil (refinery) industry in to perform the following functions:

-Manage and supervise QC laboratory activities

-Establishing procedures for sampling, recording and reporting data

-In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards

-Understanding customer and stakeholder requirements to develop effectual quality control processes.

-Establishing procedures for sampling, recording and reporting data

-Devising specifications for products/ processes

-Setting raw material requirements for suppliers and monitoring their compliance.

-Conducting an assessment of the company's production processes and curating in-house quality policies

Collaborating with quality personnel for the implementation of systems, procedures, and standards of operation

Ensure that the manufacturing processes comply with both local and global production standards

Conducting quality audits to ensure that the quality policies are being adhered to

Training quality assurance personnel for building a strong work unit

Assure that quality control staffs are well trained in support of their career development paths   and the company's growth plans
