POSITION&FUNCTIONS

1. Provide media management services to the organization


2. The nature of the role requires
   
   
   
   • the day to day management of a team of staff which includes camera personnel, video editors, a lighting man, and a graphic artists;
   
   
   • planning and implementing each aspect of media production;
   
   
   • producing and directing;
   
   
   • producing quality video for broadcast and online media within set timelines;
   
   
   • recruiting skilled staff, and building a corps of trained volunteers to augment the staff strength of the team;
   
   
   • planning succession for staff positions;
   
   
   • being present in person at all productions to supervise the execution of the production plan.
   
   
   • contributing at least 40 hours of service per week;
   
   
   • scheduling staff and volunteers to implement production plans;
   
   
   • overseeing and implementing the media goals of the organization within the context of the organization’s media interface and operation schedule.
   
   
   • overseeing the media department to provide technical support for the videography and video production needs of the organization and its departments.
   
   
   
   


3. To advise on video software/equipment upgrades for the organisation

ROLE REQUIREMENT

1. Degree or similar qualification in Fine Arts – Film making, cinematography, and or video production


2. Practicing Christian


3. Experience in live video production and set up will be an advantage
