EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Must have a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 8–10 years of experience in HR roles, 3 to 5 years in leadership role preferably in a multinational environment.
• Experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws in Liberia.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Autonomy and self-motivated.
• Language: English. Speaking French is a plus

Description
Our client, a leading multinational telecommunications company, is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director (HRD) to provide leadership and oversight of its people strategy.
ROLE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the people strategy, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and supporting business performance across the company. The role requires a strategic and hands-on HR leader with strong experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development, ideally within a multinational telecommunications or similarly complex environment.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Act as a strategic and trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all HR matters.
- Support managers on all HR related topics: Organization design, discipline, workforce planning.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent, and ensures the company has the right skill to deliver its strategic objectives.
- Lead performance management processes and career development programs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Develop initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Ensure fair and competitive compensation practices aligned with Group guidelines and market needs.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll processes effectively.
- Monitor workforce costs, headcount and other HR KPI’s.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Manage employee relations and anticipate social risk in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Support organizational changes and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Lead HR-related transformation projects in alignment with company goals.
