The Construction Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the procurement of goods, services, and contracts required for the successful execution of construction projects at KFC. This role involves sourcing materials, negotiating contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the smooth delivery of construction projects within time, cost, and quality constraints

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials, services, and equipment required for new store builds, renovations, and maintenance projects.


• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers and contractors to secure the best pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.


• Ensure that procurement activities align with budgetary constraints and project timelines.


• Prepare and administer purchase orders, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.


• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.


• Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.


• Evaluate and recommend improvements in supplier relationships and performance.


• Ensure all procurement activities are cost-effective and within the allocated project budget.


• Assist in preparing cost estimates and providing input into the overall project


• Work closely with the Construction Project Managers, architects, and designers to ensure the procurement of the right materials and services in accordance with project specifications.


• Prepare procurement reports, track inventory, and maintain records of purchased items and services for reporting purposes.


• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to avoid project delays.
