Bachelor of Science(BSc) in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field. Proven certificate and license required. Proven experience as a sonographer, with expertise in various ultrasound procedures (e.g., obstetric, abdominal, vascular). Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as it relates to sonographic imaging. Ability to operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare staff. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality images are obtained for diagnosis. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

• Based on physician orders, perform ultrasound procedures on patients, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging.


• Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, documenting medical history and procedures performed.


• Position patients appropriately to capture the best images while ensuring their comfort and safety during the procedure.


• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order and troubleshooting when necessary.


• Assist physicians in interpreting ultrasound results by providing high-quality images and relevant information.


• Maintain a sterile environment in compliance with infection control policies and protocols.


• Follow safety protocols for radiation exposure and other relevant health and safety standards.


• Educate and support patients throughout imaging, addressing any concerns or questions.


• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.


• Ensure that all necessary paperwork, reports, and imaging files are accurately documented and stored in the medical system.
