Qualifications
• Medical Qualification
• Full registration with the MDC
• Membership in Family Medicine (Ghana College of Physicians & Surgeons)
• Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience as a Family Physician
• Current BLS, ACLS & ITLS or equivalent certification.
• Excellent Medical Doctor skills, Diplomacy and people handling, Administration and leadership skills & Medical Case Management and medical assistance skills.
• Knowledge and experience of Occupational Health would be an advantage.
• Good with deadlines, good with managing people and can operate effectively under pressure in a multicultural setting.

Description
The successful candidate will report to the Medical Coordinator, Clinics. The main duties of the Family Physician will include but not limited to the following:
- Undertake clinical consultations and provide a high standard of service and care to patients.
- To support with ensuring appropriate patient triage and flow within the clinic.
- Perform rounds in the clinic emergency room and our inpatient on admitted patients – ensure good handovers to other medical personnel when required.
- Develop a family orientation clinic practice with continuity of care, specialist referrals and appropriate follow-up referral.
- To maintain a professional and clean consulting room at all times
- To use all medical equipment professionally and handle with them care, ensure good maintenance.
- To assist the EMS team with critical care transport during primary and secondary emergency responses
- To support with offshore medevac’s as and when necessary.
- To be part of medevac team for both in country and sub-regional flights on air ambulance
- Perform medical escort duties for international repatriations of patients on commercial airlines.
- Assist in the effective implementation and maintenance of Clinical and Doctor SOPS and standardize work practice.
- Coordinate clinical governance and medical meetings.
- To provide clinic leadership to the medical team.
- Create and maintain effective positive teamwork and clear channels of communication both internally and externally.
- Participate appropriately in social, professional, and networking events to promote and create awareness of WARA services.
- To ensure and assist in the implementation of cooperate client contracts.
