The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s procurement processes. This role involves sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that purchases are made in a cost-effective and timely manner

Job description:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.


• Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential suppliers.


• Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.


• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure optimal terms for the organization.


• Monitor the timely delivery of goods and services, ensuring that order specifications are met.


• Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities without compromising quality.


• Collaborate with inventory teams to manage stock levels, prevent shortages, and avoid overstocking.


• Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, costs, supplier performance, and trends.


• Analyze data to forecast procurement needs and make informed purchasing decisions.


• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on procurement strategies.
