Job Summary
To lead, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance and repair activities for client equipment, ensuring high operational availability, service quality, and technical performance. The Maintenance Manager ensures proper resource deployment, adherence to preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, and effective resolution of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on customer machinery.
Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Execution
- Oversee the execution of scheduled, preventive, and emergency maintenance tasks on all client machines .
- Collaborate with Planners and CSRs to ensure timely assignment of technicians and parts availability before job commencement.
- Review and approve job cards, service reports, and diagnoses submitted by technicians.
Technical Troubleshooting & Support
- Provide hands-on technical guidance on complex equipment faults.
- Ensure root cause analysis is conducted for repeat faults or critical breakdowns.
- Support technicians remotely or on-site where necessary for difficult service cases.
Technician Supervision & Development
- Supervise the activities and performance of field technicians across all service sites.
- Organize regular toolbox meetings, technical briefings, and safety inductions.
- Identify skill gaps and arrange in-house or OEM training
Preventive Maintenance Management
- Establish and update preventive maintenance schedules for client equipment under contract.
- Monitor compliance and ensure planned jobs are done on-time and documented.
- Work with the Operations Manager to generate monthly reports on PM completion rates.
Safety, Quality & SOP Compliance
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure technicians operate under safe conditions at all times.
- Monitor job execution against the company’s technical standards and SOPs.
- Investigate field incidents, near-misses, or equipment damage, and recommend corrective actions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Review and verify all service reports, diagnosis forms, and inspection sheets submitted by technicians.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records for each client machine (digital or hard copy).
- Submit weekly activity summaries and highlight critical service issues to the Operations Manager.
Coordination with Internal Teams
- Liaise with Storekeepers and Planners to ensure timely parts and tool availability before job execution.
- Collaborate with CSRs for feedback on customer concerns and satisfaction levels post-service.
- Support warranty claim documentation with technical reports and parts inspection outcomes.
