The Senior Architect is responsible for architectural design compliance, quality assurance, and coordination of all design-related matters throughout the project. This position ensures that constructed facilities match design intent, meet functional requirements, and comply with architectural standards.

 
Key Responsibilities 
Review and approve all architectural drawings, specifications, and technical details prepared by design consultants 
Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations 
Conduct design reviews and coordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP design disciplines 
Monitor design development and provide regular feedback to ensure practicality and constructability 
Coordinate architectural aspects of change orders and scope variations 
Ensure architectural aesthetics, functionality, and durability are maintained during construction 
Review and approve architectural finishes, color schemes, and material selections 
Support Project Manager in architectural-related communications with client and consultants 
Ensure compliance with sustainable design principles and green building standards (if applicable) 

Required Qualifications 
Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) from recognized institution 
Minimum 12-15 years of experience in architectural design or site supervision 
Valid architectural registration with Indian Council of Architects (IIA) (preferred) 
Experience in educational or TVET facility design (preferred) 
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and architectural best practices 
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and MS Office
