The Operations Manager for Spare Parts Sales will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficient order processing, inventory management, and customer service. This role involves managing the procurement of spare parts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely delivery to customers. The Operations Manager will work closely with the sales, procurement, customer relations, and logistics teams to meet sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. They will also ensure the smooth coordination between departments, handle escalated customer issues, and monitor budget adherence while striving for process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Sales Operations Management:
Oversee daily spare parts sales operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly from order placement to delivery. Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.
⦁ Inventory & Stock Management:
Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring availability of spare parts and preventing overstocking or stock-outs.
⦁ Procurement & Supplier Relations:
Manage procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of quality spare parts. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to get the best pricing and terms.
⦁ Customer Support & Service Delivery:
Work alongside the Customer Relations Officer to handle escalated customer issues related to spare parts availability, order fulfillment, and delivery timelines.
⦁ Team Leadership & Development (Sales, Procurement, Logistics):
Lead and develop the sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure they are well-equipped to meet operational and sales goals. Foster collaboration across teams to enhance productivity.
⦁ Process Optimization & Efficiency:
Continuously review sales and operational processes, identifying areas for improvement. Implement solutions to streamline sales, order processing, and distribution workflows.
⦁ Health, Safety, & Compliance:
Ensure that all sales and operational activities comply with company policies, health, and safety regulations.
