Description
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Officer will support the HR department in various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with labor laws. The HR Officer will also be responsible for administrative tasks and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related issues and concerns.
- Mediate and resolve employee conflicts and grievances professionally and confidentially.
- Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and activities.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance review process, including setting timelines, coordinating reviews, and providing training to managers and employees.
- Monitor and track employee performance metrics and assist in developing performance improvement plans.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs for employees to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain training records and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance, and leave records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Administrative Support:
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations for management.
- Manage HR databases and systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Assist in organizing HR events and activities, such as employee recognition programs and team-building events.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy in salary payments and deductions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits.
Health and Safety:
- Promote workplace safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in conducting workplace safety inspections and addressing safety concerns.
