Mechanical Engineer Jobs Information
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pump Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various types of pumps and pumping systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Assemble centrifugal, submersible, booster, and other industrial pumps according to specifications.
• Install and commission pump systems at workshop and client sites.
• Conduct performance testing and quality checks on assembled pumps.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, servicing, and maintenance.
• Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Support field service activities when required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
Requirements
• Degree, or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of [2–3] years’ experience in pump assembly or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and pump components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel for site assignments when required.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
