Mechanical Engineer Jobs Information
Duties & Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
▪ Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all mechanical installations on site.
▪ Ability to read, review plans and specifications accordingly.
▪ Provide technical advice to team members and provide guidance regarding installation and maintenance of all mechanical system.
▪ Attend meetings related to the construction project and ensure installations are being
done according to the right specification.
▪Preparation of weekly forecast report for management
▪ Ability to plan works ahead of execution and with proper documentations.
▪ Ability to read schematics and shop drawings
▪ Supervise all installations of machines and equipment at site thereby ensuring
fulfillment of international standards and requirements.
▪ Able to lead site personnel to execute and complete the job on time at the site.
▪ Undertake general project site observation/inspection of the mechanical services
works for contractor’s adherence to the specification, good working practices and
construction schedule.
▪ Undertake final project snagging and prepare a list of defects for the contractor’s action.
Requirements and Qualifications
• HND / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (working with Motors).
• Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in the construction field.
▪Ability to use AUTOCAD is an added advantage
• At least, 2 years of work experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
• Deep maintenance, and repair knowledge.
