• Acquire loan customers through prospecting, networking and take part in marketing activities geared towards client acquisition


• Employ effective relationship management skills to retain existing customer to grow the loan portfolio of the company


• Assist customers in loan application process, review loan requests and appraise same.


• Communicate your recommendations or rejection of requests to management base on your risk analysis


• Contact/Visit clients to gather financial data and documentation, verify customer information and assess clients’ business and financial status.


• Evaluate creditworthiness and risks of applicants and their businesses


• Communicate effectively, approved charges, rates, loan amount and /or rejections to customers.


• Calculating and analyzing the risk ratios of clients based on their credit score and financial history.


• Originate and maintaining records of loan applications in loan management software.


• Maintain updated records of loan applications


• Monitor progress of existing loans


• Take part in field monitoring and recovery activities


• Escalate unresolved customer complaints and challenges to management


• Ensuring that loan applications are in line with the company's financial policies, as well as state laws and regulations and ensure customer information security


• Participate in credit operations meetings and training sessions


• Educate customers on company’s policies and procedures


• Any other duty(ies) that may be assigned by management.
